Roberta A. Brawner, 80, passed away peacefully October 13, 2022 at Garnet Medical Center.
Roberta Ann (Bobbe) Blauvelt was born June 28, 1942 to the late Walter & Gladys Blauvelt in Nyack, NY. and was married to her Prince Carl E. Brawner May 4, 1963.
Bobbe was a homemaker & babysitter to her grandchildren & other children in the community. She was devoted to being a wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She loved all her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren dearly holding them all closely to her heart. Bobbe loved the holidays & family gatherings. She loved spending her time watching her grandchildren grow up & participate in local sporting events, where she was their biggest fan. She was thrilled with the recent addition of her 2 great grandchildren & loved holding them.
In addition to her parents, her death was preceded by her brother Teddy and 2 sisters Jan & Carol.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Carl E. Brawner, 2 sisters Gladys & Rae, 3 daughters Sherri Gabriel (Jake) of Myrtle Beach, Jodi Conklin (Michael) of Mount Hope, Loreen Michelitch (Chad) of Greenville, 6 grandchildren Miranda, Tyler, Zachary, Kyla, Sydney, Ella, 2 great grandchildren Dawson & Adalynn and several nieces & nephews.
There will be a small service for immediate family members only held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York 10940.The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
