Marion Paduch, a longtime Middletown resident, died on April 1, 2014 at Highland Manor in Middletown. She was 93.
The daughter of the late Earl and Clara May Ward Going, she was born on September 4, 1920 in Detroit, MI. She married John Paduch on January 30, 1938 in Middletown and shared 63 years of marriage with him until his death in 1998. Marion worked for Avon Products in Middletown for many years and enrolled in the Middletown beauty School in 1969. At one time, she owned and operated her own beauty salon in Middletown. She was a past president of the BPW and was a member of the bowling league for Avon. Marion was also very active in her church and loved attending mass at St. Albert’s Chapel at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and was a member of the Confraternity of Carmelites. She was a generour and caring lady who
Marion was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother who spent her life taking care of her children and their families.
Marion is survived by her loving family, her son, Charles, daughter, Linda Wenz and her husband Robert; her daughter-in-law Paula Paduch; six grandchildren, Keith, Jennifer, Jessica, Karen, Susan and Brenda; great-grandchildren, Alysha, Ashley, Brittany, Ryan, Tyler, Taylor, Lauren, Ava, Josyln, and Elaina; and one great-great grandson Liam.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, one son Stanley one great-grandson, Brian Hutchings, Jr; brother, Earl and sister-in-law Theresa.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY, 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Friday, April 4th at St. Albert’s Chapel, 70 Carmelite Drive, Middletown, NY 10940. Following cremation, cremains will be buried in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marion’s name may be made to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 70 Carmelite Drive, Middletown, NY 10940

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY, 10940.
