Yvonne Mark, a longtime Rockland County resident and recently of Chester, NY, died in the early morning hours on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 67.
Yvonne was born on March 15, 1949 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Keung B. Moy and May Ting Gong. Yvonne married Kenneth K. Mark, who predeceased her in 2007.
Yvonne was the eldest of four children and spent her lifetime completely devoted to her family. She was loving, kind hearted and filled her house with her loving spirit. She welcomed all into her home and passed that generosity and accommodating nature on to her children. She was a hard worker and an avid reader.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Raymond and his wife Stacey of Montgomery and Stephanie Mark of Chester; one brother Habs Moy and his wife Ying of Shleton, CT; two sisters Evelyn Lee with her husband William and Yvette Moy of Alexandria, VA and her brother-in-law Everett and his wife Cindi of Florida, NY. She has many nieces and nephews as well.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, In., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 10 am on Friday, January 27, 2017. Burial will follow in the family plot in Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
