Obituary for Yvonne Fernhoff
Yvonne Fernhoff passed away in the early morning hours of October 9, 2023 at her home, she was 65 years old.
The daughter of the late Curt Fernhoff and Frances Piccinone, she was born on March 26, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. Raised by her single mother, Frances, Yvonne took on hard work ethics and made a life for her self with dedication and a bright outlook. She married Richard Donofrio in 1987 and they started a family together. Yvonne was a motivated, hard working mom who was up early and slept late. She put herself through school while working high level administrative jobs and raising her children. She worked in asset recovery, Design, real estate, women's health and finally served as a regional manager for le Sports Sac and St. John's Clothing. She did all of this while earning her BS degree from SUNY. She will be remembered by her family for her savvy brilliance with business and finance as well as her forgiving nature. She would do anything for anyone, even through her own sickness. She faced every challenge she encountered and took care of everything at her home.
In addition to her loving husband Richard at home, she is survived by her son Michael and his wife Michelle of New Windsor and her daughter Lauren McGloin and her husband Chris of New Hampton, and grandchildren, Noah and Gianna.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11 am At Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Rd, Middletown, NY 10940.
