Willie Wayne Busicchia, 73, of New Hampton NY, died unexpectedly on Monday December 10th at his home.
He was born Feb 10th 1945 in Rocky Mountain NC and raised in Bronx NY the son of Americo Busicchia and Ethel Hull. Wayne was longtime owner of New Beginnings Hair Salon and later after retiring from cutting hair went on to work at Minisink school for the grounds dept.
He was a devoted husband father and grandfather. His family was everything to him. He lived every day to be there for his family. He enjoyed being the life of the party and spending time with family and friends. Nothing was more important to him. Wayne loved to make his special pizzas for all his kids and grandkids on their birthdays, it was a family tradition.
He is survived by his loving and caring wife Theresa Arceri Busicchia and mother in law Jeni Arceri; his 5 children: Lori, Frank, Michael, Nicole and Joseph. Nothing meant more to him then his 8 grand kids, Brittany, Brandi, Bridget, Nicholas, Karin, Mathew, Destiny and Isabella. He is also survived by his two great-grandchildren Jaden and Aspen, sister-in-law Patricia Wojehowski, two nephews Robert and Jeffery and Aunt Rose Busicchia.
If you knew Wayne, you had a friend who made you smile and laugh all the time. He always wanted to make people laugh. He cherished every moment spent with family. Those who knew him waited for the stories and the personally invented Wayne talk. Wayne will always be remembered, please do what he wanted and remember a Willie Wayne story and laugh out loud.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service in Remembrance will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday evening. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Willie's name may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 or to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
