Obituary for William J. Zagari
William J. Zagari
March 15, 1939- December 8, 1920
On December 8th, 2020, Bill passed peacefully at Garnet Health. He is survived by his loving daughter Terri Zagari Grady, his son in law Glenn Grady, his grandsons Jason and Connor Grady. Bill also had a "favorite uncle" Edward Burns and wife JoAnna.
Bill was a master of corny jokes and loved to tell stories of his adventures with his daughter and partner Terri who lovingly always called him her "Daddy Waddy".
One of his favorite stories was how he and Terri were driving on route 17 in Parsippany, NJ while the song "Midnight Rider" by the Allman bros. band was playing. They replayed the song over and over, driving well passed their destination loving the song and each other.
He was a kind gentle soul who brought a smile to everyone who met him. He left us too soon but left all who met him with fond memories.
Bill , (Daddy Waddy )now you are the Midnight rider. So don't let them catch you no, don't let them catch the Midnight Rider...
