William G. Jacobs, a longtime Middletown resident, died on Saturday June 11 at White Plains Medical Center. He was 62.
William was born on June 7, 1949 in the Bronx. He married Lucille Casino on July 18, 1987 in Port Chester, NY. He and Lucille did everything together; he loved to garden and to travel. William took a lot of pride in his gardens and his home, where he could display his artistic talents. In all of his endeavors, he was organized, brilliant and a perfectionist.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille at home; his sons, Michael Bellantoni of Port Chester and William Jacobs, Jr; his faithful Yorkie, Samantha; brothers, Donald and Henry and sisters, Judy Wolfe and Charlotte Conklin; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Cremation will be private at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. www.applebee-mcphillips.com
