Wilbur Gross passed away on 2/15/23 at Highland Rehabilitation &
Nursing Center in Middletown, N.Y. at the age of 72.
Wilbur was born on 8/2/1950 in Middletown, N.Y. to Frederick Gross &
Avis (Wilbur) Gross.
Wilbur had a rough life in his younger years, but mellowed as he got older. He became a kind, gentle soul, who deeply appreciated just a "hello from anyone. He lived the last part of his life at PromenadeAssisted Living Home, on Fulton Street, in Middletown, N.Y. He was there for quite a while, and deeply appreciated the home & the Staff.
After a few years, he met his Soulmate, Nancy, by offering to sharehis doughnuts with her. They dated for a while, then got engaged. He always said she was his soulmate & love of his life. He's survived byNancy, who also lives at the Promenade Assisted Living Home. Willy loved to dance, whenever there was a gathering with music (especially Country). He'd put his "Clint Eastwood" hat on, along with his western shirt & jeans, and of course, his cowboy boots. He was such a proud man when dancing with his Fiance', Nancy. Willy was loved by many at the Promenade & at the Highland Home.
Wilbur is survived by two children. Cheri (Gross) Boyle, and WilburGross Jr, both living in Wurtsboro, NY. Also by three Grandchildren: Abigail Boyle, Tommy Boyle & Partner, Samantha, & Kylee Gross. Also one Great Grandson, Logan, son of Tommy & Samantha. He had many Cousins & Nieces & Nephews.
Wilbur had four siblings who predeceased him. His older Brother, Richard Gross, and three Sisters: Georgina (Gross) Loderhose, Barbara (Gross) Skeados, and Linda (Gross) Pergeson.
