Wayne A Ogilvie
Wayne A Ogilvie age 65 born September 14, 1956 in Suffern NY and passed away peacefully at home on Friday August 5, 2022 after his courageous battle with cancer.
Wayne was an avid Fisherman and Hunter. He loved to fish and hunt with his best friends Tommy and Dink and nephews Daniel and Andrew.
He was a Volunteer with the Sloatsburg NY Fire Department for over 45 years.
Wayne worked at the Suffern DPW and retired after 30 years.
Wayne lived life to the fullest and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was the kindest and most generous man to anyone that crossed his path. He loved the Yankees. He loved to cook and Barbeque. Wayne always loved a good party.
Wayne is survived by his wife Lisa (Rohe) Ogilvie, daughter Nicole Bukavich and her husband Zach and nephew Eddie Kelly as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wayne is predeceased by his parents Alexander Ogilvie and Lulu (Conklin) Ogilvie.
Visitation will be held at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home located at 130 Highland Avenue Middletown, NY 10940. Calling hours are Wednesday August 10th from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the funeral home. A Fire-Matic Service will be held at 7pm. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will take place on Thursday August 11th at 11am with the Reverend Dave Hansen officiating. Immediately following the service, burial with Fire-Matic Honors will be held at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
