Wanda Westley, age 94 of Middletown, and formerly of Lynbrook, NY, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center.
Wanda was born on April 3, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Polish born parents, Emil and Mary Skiba. Wanda was happily married to Thomas Westley for 52 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandparent, as well as an avid N.Y. Mets fan.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Westley of Middletown, NY amd Thomas Westley, Jr. of Cranberry, NJ; one granddaughter, Sarah Westley of Grantsville, PA and one grandson, Jaylen Brandon of Wilkes Barre, PA.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas M. Westley on April 1, 2006.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Friends are invited to dinner between the calling hours at Destefano’s Olde Erie, 7 West Main Street, Middletown, NY 10940 (845)342-4908. Burial in the family plot will take place on Tuesday, January 23rd at Calverton National Cemetery.
