Walter Wiesbeck of Middletown died Thursday February 17, 2011 at ORMC Horton Campus. He was 55 years old. He was born on April 11, 1955 in Manhattan, N.Y. the son of the late Eugene and Helen Fortier Wiesbeck.
Walter was a hardworking man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He was always known as a tough old school guy until his granddaughter Emily changed all that. He loved to spoil her. Walter was a life member of the Town of Wallkill Ambulance Co. and also a former Scout Master and he enjoyed photographing Eagles.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Stephanie at home, his three sons Eugene at home, Steven , and Walter Jr., and his wife Mirysa of Middletown, his daughter Cynthia Voorhees and her husband Paul of Wassiac, NY brother Eugene and his wife Peggy of TX., sister Carol Rapp and her husband Michael of Yonkers and his granddaughter Emily.
The visitation hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday, February 22, at Applebee-Phillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Paul’s R.C. Church Rt. 17 K Bullville, NY with the burial to follow at the Orange County Memorial Veterans Cemetery 111 Craigville Rd. Goshen, NY.
