Vittoria Anne DeRanieri of Middletown, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus in Middletown, N.Y. She was 22.The daughter of Ronald DeRanieri and Deborah Somma Morales, she was born September 11, 1983 in Brooklyn, N.Y.Tori moved to the Middletown area 8 years ago and was a student of American History and Music at SUNY Orange in Middletown.A family statement reads: "She was loved by everyone who knew her. She had many friends. She had an eye and feel for beauty and loved to indulge. She had a love for music and her taste was eclectic. She was the world's best hugger, and was the one that everyone turned to for advice. Tori found it very easy to make others smile, laugh and even cry. She will be missed by us all."She is survived by her loving parents, Deborah Morales and her husband, Gilbert, and Ronald DeRanieri and his wife, Pamela; brothers, Gilbert Morales Jr. and Damion Morales; sisters: Dina Nichols and her husband, Michael, Alexandra DeRanieri and Amanda Morales; nephew, Justin Morales; niece, Jayden Morales; Godmother, Patricia Somma; uncle, Joseph Somma; Godfather, Gerald DeRanieri and his wife, Rosalina, and many cousins.Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, N.Y.A funeral service will be held on Sunday morning, September 10, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
