Vito J. Mastandrea, 77, of the Trilogy community in Groveland, passed away July 16, 2014 at South Lake Hospital in Clermont. Born in New York City, he moved to Florida in 2006 from New York. Mr. Mastandrea retired from the United States Postal Service after 40 years of employment and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He was Catholic by faith. He was predeceased in 2006 by his wife, Helen. Survived by 3 children; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers and his sister-in-law.
Visitation Monday, July 21st from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m at Brewer and Sons Funeral Chapel in Brookville, FL.Â
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 28, 2014 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 2800 Rt. 17 K, Bullville, NY 10915. Burial will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, 111 Midway road, Middletown, NY 10940.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated by the family.
