Virginia Radonis, a retired Data Entry Supervisor at Iron Mountain ,Chester, New York died on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 77 years old.
The daughter of William Theesfeld and Terese Raubinger, she was born on June 20, 1939, in Bronx, New York.
Her joy in her life was her family and her dogs. You could always find her crocheting blankets for everyone and sitting at the table doing her crossword puzzles. When she spoke of her grandchildren, it brought a smile to her face, she was so proud of them. With her last breath, she had a smile to let us know was at peace and went with the Lord and to meet her dogs at the Rainbow Bridge.
In addition to her loving husband, John, she is survived by her four daughters; Suzanne Montgomery and her husband Roy of New Hampton, New York, Stacy Budd and her husband David of Greenville, New York,Pamela Scott of New Hampton, new York, and Jennifer Radonis of New Hampton, New York. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael and Kevin Budd, Rebecca Montgomery and Ashley Scott and great-granddaughter Aerabella Budd.
Virginia is pre-deceased by her two sisters, Elsie Cuomo and Louise Steen, and her brother William Theesfeld.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York. A Funeral service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, May 17 at the funeral home, burial will follow in Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
