Viola Hall, an area resident since the early 1980s, died following a long illness at Elant at Goshen on Friday, February 1, 2013. She was 95.
She was born on April 24, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY. Viola married Neil Hall and they lived and raised their family together in Queens, NY until 1983. Viola was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband Neil on January 12, 1991.
She is survived by her children; John Hall and his wife Jean of Monroe and Patricia Ward and her husband Richard of Livingston Manor; her grandchildren, Aaron Ward and his wife Casey, Sean Hall and Thomas Hall and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Ward and Elijah Ward.
Visitation hours will be from 1 to 4 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Livingston Manor, NY.

Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Livingston Manor, NY.
