Vincent passed away from a battle with cancer on Monday, March10, 2014 at home. He was 70.
The son of Lettie Kaczmar and Vincent DePaul Ryan, he was born on January 14, 1944 in Middletown, NY. He married Helen Ann Mydosh. Vincent was the co-owner of Dan’s Sewer Service before he retired. He was an honorary member of Howells Fire Company #1, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #544, the Moose Lodge, Hoffman Lodge #412 and a longtime member of Oak Ridge Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Bloomingburg.
He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Helen Ryan; his mother, Lettie Kaczmar of Middletown; stepfather, John Kaczmar of Florida; four children, Helen Ryan Felice and her husband Dominick of Wurtsboro; Vincent P. Ryan, Jr of Middletown, John Ryan and his wife Joy of Texas and Daniel Ryan and his wife Suzanne of NC; grandchildren, Danielle Felice, Tanya, Christine, Samantha, John, Christopher, Trysha, and Ashley Ryan; and one Great-grandson, Nicholi. He is also survived by one sister, Patricia Rothchild and stepsister, Shannon Desilva as well as many nieces and nephews and the love of his life, Fred the bird.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Applebee- McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10 am, burial will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Applebee- McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
