Vincent Iovino, a 14 year resident of the Middletown area, died after a short illness on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 48.
The son of the late Vincent and Maria Brau Iovino, he was born on December 29, 1962 in the Bronx. He married Clara Elias and worked for Neuberger-Berman in New York City.
In addition to his loving wife, Clara, Vincent is survived by his two sons, Brian and Michael; one brother Mario; two sisters, JoAnn Scalzetti and her husband Phil and Antonia Proscia and her husband Mike; seven nephews and four nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Susan and Angie.
Visitation hours will be from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011 and from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 2800 Rt. 17 K in Bullville, NY 10915. Fr. Patrick McGuigan, O. Carm. will officiate. Cremation will be private.
