“ Not Home Gone Fishing"
Victor Mazza age 82 passed away Monday May 9, at home surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer.
Victor was retired from N.Y. University in Sterling Forrest; he was a heating and refrigeration engineer. Then worked part time for CPM.
Victor loved to fish and hunt; he was a member of the Maybrook Sportsman Club and also Shawangunk Fish and Game Association. He found his peace in the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary, his two daughters Jean Swan and Brenda Lassing and her husband Karl, his grandchildren, Amanda, Chelsea, Jimmy, Lindsay, Melissa and Michelle, and his great grandson Keagan. He is also survived by his sister Theresa Larkin and her husband Charles, and his sister Nancy and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relations may call Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940 on Thursday May 12, from 4 to 8PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday May 13, at 11 am at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Cremation will be private.Â
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc. 800 Stoneybrook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550
