Victor Ernesto Otero, 58, Middletown, NY, passed away on June 20th, 2022.

Victor was born in New York City, NY on September 25, 1963, to the late Jose Otero and Rosa Otero (Vega).
Victor spent his early life in NYC, graduating from John Jay College with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He dedicated almost 30 years in NYPD, retiring as a Sergeant in 2016. In 2016, Victor moved to upstate NY to Orange County, where he lived until his passing. Victor was a friendly, loving, energetic individual with a great love for animals. Victor was a huge sport
fan and loved movies.
Victor is survived by his wife Ivette, daughter Alexandra, stepdaughter
Jessica, stepsons William and Giusseppe. Additionally, by his fur babies Bella and Enano.
Family, friends, colleagues and others, whose lives Victor touched are invited to the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 on Monday, June 27th, 2022, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, beginning at 10:30am.
