Obituary for Veronica M Guihan
Veronica Mary Guihan, a resident of Middletown , died on Monday February 17, 2020 at Park Manor Nursing Home. She was 90 years old. The daughter of Adam and Katherine Sewin Denega, she was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on December 4, 1929. She married Robert Guihan in Brooklyn on October 19, 1952 and together they raised four children. Veronica was an avid reader, a dedicated crossword puzzle enthusiast and a talented knitter who gifted many of her creations to her family. A very kind, wise and thoughtful lady, she will always be remembered for her love of family and especially her cherished grandchildren, great grandchild and (one on the way).
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert, at home, her children,Robert Jr. (Dianne). Janet Storck (Larry), Susan Guasp and one sister, Terry Coleman as well as
her 7 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Julia Cusack. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st from 9-10:45am at the funeral Home, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 11 am with Fr. Dennis Nikolic officiating. Burial will take place following the mass in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, N.Y.
