Thomas O. Howell of Westtown died Sunday February 14, 2010, at ORMC Arden Hill Campus surrounded by his adoring family. He was 72 years old. He was born on December 30, 1937 in Kankakee, IL to the late Louis and Helen Glassford Howell.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, son Mark Howell of New Paltz, three daughters Carol LaGoy of New Paltz, Laura Healey and her husband Dwight of Goshen, Diane Herrick and her companion (?) Thomas Tombs of Rochester, nine grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Erin, Jason, Dylan, Connor, Emily, Teigen and Tessa. He is also survived by his sister Judie Barns of Mississippi, and his aunt Virginia Miles of Missouri, and cousins.
Visitation hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday February 22, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday February 23 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
