Therese F. Wlodarczyk, a retired restauranteur, died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 83.
The daughter of the late Loyola Raymond and Antoine Joseph Parisien, she was born on September 3, 1930 in Ottawa, Canada. Therese married Jerry Wlodarczyk and they worked together as restauranteurs for many years, most recently prior to their retirement, as the owners of a Roy Rogers Restaurant in Saddle Brook, NJ.
Therese was a hard working mother who was proud of her French Canadian heritage. She was an animal lover as well as a loving grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Mimi Wlodarczyk of Manhattan, NY; her son, Gerald Wlodarczyk and his wife, Kim, of Montgomery, NY; her grandchildren, Kyle and Amy Wlodarczyk of Montgomery, NY; her ex-husband Jerry Wlodarczyk of Hawthorne, NJ with whom she maintained a close friendship; her sister Margaret Cucaro of California; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Joseph.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 1 to 3 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
