Obituary for Theresa Zigli Kehm
Theresa Zigli Kehm, 92, of Middletown, passed into eternal life on June 7, 2006 after a prolonged illness.Theresa was born in Shandra, Romania in 1914. Entering the USA in 1935, she became an American Citizen in 1943. Theresa was employed in a number of dress and coat factories in Middletown for more than 25 years and was a member of the International Garment Worker's Union.Theresa was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Middletown for over 55 years. She enjoyed her garden and being among her flowers and vegetables. She was also a loving mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.She is survived by her loving children, Mary Sinnamon of Greenwich, N.Y., Joseph Kehm of Miami Beach, Fla., and John Kehm of Walker Valley, N.Y.; two cherished grandchildren, Joe Kehm and Sarah Henderson, both of Middletown; one beloved great-grandson, Liam, also of Middletown; as well as her caregiver, Tina.Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph in 1966.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown.
