Theresa Mary Reidy of Walden NY, died on Tuesday July 5 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 51.
The son of Helen Kuhn Zeman and the late Thomas Reidy she was born on February 21, 1960 in Mt Vernon, NY.Theresa graduated from Middletown High School in 1978 and completed school for as a Radiologist technician. She received her 25 year pin from O.R.M.C. Arden Hill Campus for Radio Technology. She performed x-rays, mammography’s and Cat scans. She loved her job where she felt she was able to help others. She was a wonderful friend who had dedicated friends who stood by her for years. Theresa was an angel in times of need for others. She loved to travel and also loved her home. Theresa kept close and in touch with her family and enjoyed staying close to them. She will always be remembered as a wonderful friend, daughter, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her significant other of over 10 years, Patrick Hegarty and his loving children, Kerry and Caity; her mother, Helen Zeman; four brothers, Thomas S. Reidy and his wife Sandy of Bloomingburg, Daniel Reidy of Mountaindale, Michael Reidy and his wife Erin of Kerhonkson, and Craig Zeman and his wife Ekaterina of Middletown; two sisters, Helen Henderson and her husbnad David of Cuddebackville and Eileen Brennan and her husband Colin of Huguenot; four nieces and one nephew as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 pm on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral home on Friday evening. Cremation will be private at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
