THERESA DELPHINE IRWIN 92 passed away peacefully at her home in Slate Hill, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 24, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Stanley and Anna.
She was happily married to her husband William, Sr. for 65 years before he passed
in 2011.
Dell was a devoted member of Holy Cross Church and a member of the Rosary Society, an Adorer of St. Joseph's Church in Middletown for many years. She enjoyed reading, baking, crocheting and sewing.
Dell is survived by her four children, Katherine Fiorenza (Giulio), Patricia McMahon (Daniel), William, Jr. (Barbara) and Michael (Aracelis).
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, John Fleming, Kelly Lamy (Michael), Eileen Currie (Scott), Mary Rapaport (John), William Irwin, III, Kimberly Ritacco (Christopher), and Briana Irwin. Blessed with eight great grandchildren, Ashley Colwell (Sean), Daniel Currie, Ariel Currie, Alexander Rapaport, Nicholas Rapaport, Ava Rapaport, Aria Ritacco and Rylee Ritacco and the birth of great great granddaughter Shay Colwell.
Dell was predeceased by her sister Rosemary Riley of St. Petersburg Florida.
Due to Covid funeral arrangements were private.
