Obituary for Theresa Campbell
Theresa Campbell of Middletown, New York passed away peacefully on October 15, 2018. She was 92 years old.
Theresa loved gardening and cooking. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed spending much of her time at The Mulberry House in Middletown with many of her close Senior Citizen friends.
In 1933, her family moved to Patterson, New Jersey where Theresa attended grade school for 5 years and then moved to Rockland County, where she graduated 8th grade and Haverstraw High School, worked as a secretary for A. Berlin and Sons, a Coat Manufacturing Company. Upon leaving, began working at People’s Bank of Haverstraw, where she worked for several years, and retired from Bank of New York.
She is survived by two sons, Rich and his wife Carol of Shohola, Pennsylvania and Jeff and his wife Jean of Bloomingburg; Four grandchildren; Cheryl Knapp, Joseph Benincasa, Brian Campbell and Chris Campbell and four great grandchildren; Michael, Vanessa, Natalie and Carlie.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Haverstraw, New York.
Donations may be made in Theresa’s name to Alzheimer’s Association, Rockland County Chapter, 301 North Main Street #1, New City, New York 10956
