Terrance Anthony Hanrahan of Middletown,NY, passed away on Saturday December 24, 2011 at home with his family at his side. He was 55 years old .

The son of the late Walter and Mary Bell McDonald Hanrahan, he was born on August 10, 1956 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was the youngest of sixteen children. Terrance married the love of his life, Patricia MacIsaac on February 15, 1986.Terrance was a kind and thoughtful man who cherished his children. He was friend to everyone and enjoyed lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia, one son, Matthew MacIsaac, daughters, Amanda Hanrahan and her companion, Thomas Davis, Jr., Stephanie Hanrahan and her companion Timothy Smith Jr, and Katie Hanrahan. His brothers, Neil and his wife Jane, Harvey and his wife Donna, Blair and his wife Ann and Regginald . One sister, AnnMarie McDonald and her husband, Joe. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison and Thomas Davis III. As well as many relatives in the United States and Canada.

He was predeceased by his parents, Brothers Joseph, Alexander, Harold, Henry, Kevin John and one sister Mary Margaret Wells. Two brothers and sister in infancy.

Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Father Patrick McGuigan. O.Carm .
