Susan Sherman entered peacefully into heaven surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 21 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 69 years old.
Sue was born in Middletown, NY to James and Regina Baker. She grew up in Mechanicstown where she met the love of her life- Bobby. They have been happily married for 52 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Sherman- daughter Dawn Weissinger and favorite son in law PJ, and her world- her granddaughter Morgan. She is also survived by 6 siblings and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Tammy was her confidant and her best friend.
She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved dog Molly and her best friend and sister in law- Ree. We are confident that her and Ree are together again, sharing a Pepsi and a good laugh.
In earlier times, Sue was an avid golfer, baker and she loved to entertain. She was always the life of the party and will be remembered for her spunk, vitality, unmatchable wit and sarcastic sense of humor.
She loved traveling and spending time with her family and close friends, especially the times spent together in Ocean City, Maryland.
She was Bobby’s dance partner, gliding around the floor together magically, like it was rehearsed.
In later times, she loved to play Uno, binge watch her favorite shows, and spend time with her family. She also discovered a new found love of Banana Twinkies.
She was a remarkable presence to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation services to be held on Monday 2/26/24 at Applebee McPhillips Funeral Home from 5-8pm. Cremation will be private.
