Stewart Gottlieb, son of Bernard Gottlieb and Beatrice Winters Gottlieb died peacefully after a long battle with Dementia.
Stewart was born in Brooklyn and lived there with his wife Lily Gottlieb and two children until the 1982 when they moved to Middletown, NY.
Stewart loved to travel, ski, kayak and white water raft. He was an active member of the community with multiple business ventures in Orange and Sullivan County. He was also a member of the Orange County Republican Committee.
Stewart is survived by his Wife Lily Gottlieb, Middletown, NY, Daughter, Beth Gottlieb, Monroe, NY, Brother, Jan Gottlieb, Queens, NY, Granddaughter, Brina Muller. Monroe, NY,life long friend Marion Chu, Chester NY as well as many cousins, niece sand nephews. Stewart was predeceased by his son Brian Gottlieb.
Services will be held at 12 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Temple Sinai , 75 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will follow in the family plot in Temple Sinai Cemetery in Circleville, NY 10919.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Stewart Gottlieb.
