It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Viscardo announces his passing on January 16, 2018 at the age of 33.
He was born on September 19, 1984 in Suffern, NY, the son of Alexander Viscardo and Cindy Goodchild. He was raised in Orange County, NY, where he attended Pine Bush High School. He was a die hard NY Giants fan and loved to spend his Sundays watching football with his brother.
Steven was loved by many who he encountered throughout his life. His smile and contagious laughter would light up a room with a personality larger than life itself. Above all, his greatest love was for his family.
He is survived by his parents, Cindy Goodchild and her husband Franklin; Alexander Viscardo and his wife Esta; Brother Paul Viscardo and girlfriend Heidi; Sister Heather Cloke and husband Dan. Steven was a loving father to his beautiful daughter, Liliana Theresa Viscardo and her mother Jennifer Kirchner; a loving uncle to his nephews, Alexander Cloke and Paul Viscardo Jr, and is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and multitude friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 21 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Steven’s Life will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the funeral home, burial will follow in the family plot at St. Anastasia’s Cemetery in Harriman, NY.
Steven’s family requests memorial contributions in his name to be made to The Council on Addiction Prevention, 807 Rt. 52, Fishkill, NY.
