Stephen F. Glebocki died unexpectedly April 2, 2007 at his home in Rohmoser, Costa Rica. He was 38 years old.
Born January 16, 1969 in Sussex, N.J., he was the son of Stanley Walter Glebocki, Sr., and the late Lucretia Glebocki.
A family statement reads, "Stephen will always be "Gee" generous to a fault, wicked sense of humor, mischievous, sensitive, and non-judgemental. He was our brother and our friend strong and good, a rock and support to all of us, our hero always, "Dave". He was a loyal brother, amazing uncle, and sincere friend, but above all proud father to five year old Alexandra".
Stephen is survived by his beloved daughter, Alexandra "Alla" Glebocki, eight brothers and sisters; Joan O'Brien and her husband Thomas, Stanley Glebocki, Jr., and his wife, Mary, Laurie Riehle and her husband Anthony, Sandra Glebocki, Sheila Faith and her husband Steven, Stacey Harrison, Joseph Glebocki and his companion Bonnie, Amy Eden and her husband Christian, sister-in-law Danielle Glebocki, as well as nieces and nephews; Robert Bellas and T.J. O'Brien, Eric, Ryan, Brendan, and Toni Marie Riehle, Sophia Marie and Jenna Rose Glebocki, Emma Mae and Eric Michael Faith, Christian Stanley and Rutger Harrison, Isabella Kaitlin, Avery Brianna, and Kayla Jo Glebocki and Bianca Lucretia and Kane Christian Eden, two great-nephews, Robert Arthur Bellas III, and Damien Riehle.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 7 to 9 pm at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 13 at 10:30 am at St. Andrew Bobola Church, County Rte 37, New Hampton, NY. Fr. Joseph Tokarczk will officiate. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Middlehope, NY.Â
