St.Leger Russell
St. Leger Arthur Russell, also know as BARRY, died after a short illness on Wednesday, December 16, peacefully at his home in Middletown. He was two weeks away from his 73rd birthday.
Barry, the 7th of 10 children was born in Union Hill, St. Ann in the beautiful island of Jamaica West Indies, to Evelyn and Percival Russell. His parents and two siblings deceased him. He met and married the love of his life, Eulalee on February 16th 1980 and together they parented six children. He is remembered as true Family man and known for his sense of humor and keeping things light in difficult situations. Barry made many life-long friends wherever he went and is loved by all who come to know him. Barry is an avid domino player.
He worked at Parfums Jamaica Limited for nineteen (19) years before migrating to the United States, where he worked shortly at Pergament Stores, then at The Home Depot for seventeen years. Barry was always acknowledged for his outstanding work and commitment to his jobs. He was a spiritual and devout worshipper of The Church of God, 7th Day in Mt. Vernon, NY where he is deeply loved by all as a quiet and humble man.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Eulalee, six children, four sisters, three brothers.
