Sharon E. Schultz, a lifetime resident of Middletown, NY, passed away on May 8, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center . She wad 62 years old.
The daughter of the late Samuel Herbert and Patricia Brown, she was born on June 11, 1955 in Middletown, NY. She retired from Middletown Psychiatric Center where she worked as a retired clerical clerk. She also worked for Elant/Glen Arden in Goshen.
She is survived by her husband Thomas R. Schultz, at home; her daughters, Patricia A. Hasbrouck and her husband Sam and Tammy M. Schultz-Knapp of Middletown; five grandchildren, Steven and Amber Hasbrouck of Middletown, Matthew Knapp of Middletown, Christopher and Shannon Lubinskas of the State of Florida. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, who brought extreme joy to her life, Messiah Hasbrouck of Middletown and Ashlynn Schinbeckler of Flordia; two sisters Sue Sleeper of Tennessee and Sandy Berg and her husband Marty of Rock Tavern; a niece Amanda, nephews, Dylan, Ed, Sam, and cousins John and Ray Herbert and beloved dog Sheba and Freckles the Cow.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held at 8:15 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private and burial of ashes in the family plot in Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery at a later date.
