Middletown, NY
Serge Casimir passed away peacefully on August 24, 2021 in Campbell Hall, NY. He was 64.
The son of Louis Charles Casimir and Pelina Francois, he was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, on May 22nd, 1957.
He was one of nine children.
In 1982, Serge and his siblings moved from Haiti to Brooklyn, then eventually to Middletown, in 1986 where he and his siblings settled down. Serge loved music, electronics, shopping and movies; in his downtime you could often catch him at the theaters watching a good film laughing. He was a simple, well-mannered man who was never concerned with what other people were doing. Above, all he loved to laugh.
Serge is survived by his mother, Pelina. Brothers, Fritz Casimir, Alix Casimir (Rose), Philocles Casimir (Irma), and Emil Sainsil. Sisters, Marie Lerouge (Jean Claude), Denise Azemar (Lesly), Fortuna Casimir, and Lunie Cineas (Dorcin). As well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his father, Serge is predeceased by his sisters Jeanette Altidor and Nanothe Cineas.
