Sara Rivera Rodriguez, daughter of Raul and Hermina Rivera of
Middletown, New York passed away on October 15, 2022.
Sara was a life- long resident of Middletown, NY. She attended the schools in Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School in 1967 where she made many good friends. She was a warm, kind person to all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
While residing in Middletown, Sara was employed at Middletown Psychiatric Hospital until her retirement.
Sara is survived by her sisters; Lucy Perrin and Elizabeth and her husband Ken Rock, brothers; Robert and his wife Tina Rivera, Richard and his wife Maria Rivera, Rubin and his wife Amber Rivera, and many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her brother Raul and his wife Carmine and brother-in-law Jerry Perrin.
A very special thank you to Sara's niece and nephew, Cindy and Tony Quiles for their loving care of Sara during her illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home.
