Obituary for Sandra Faro
Sandra Anne Faro, was born on July 5th 1952 in Margaret Haag hospital in Jersey City N.J to Salvatore and Nicolina Criscione.
She passed away on July 22nd at Garnet Health Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with MS at the age of 70.
Sandra graduated from North Bergen H.S in 1970 where she was a member of the future Nurses of America and went on to attend the Taylor business institution in N.Y.C
She married the love of her life, Dennis Faro on November 27th 1971 at St.Joseph of the Palisades in West New York NJ.
She moved to Middletown New York where she created a beautiful life for her family. She then moved later into the home they had always dreamt of in Bullville NY. where she and Dennis lived for over 20 years making and creating beautiful memories. She made very close friends while working at the Middletown High School in the science department and then at DSS in Goshen,
She went on to have two beautiful daughters Kimberly and Jennifer, who gave her many grandchildren; Matthew, Anthony, Alexander, Luke, Nicolina, Marcelo and Rosalia, who would give her joy everyday. She cherished all the love and support that her beloved lifelong friends and family have given her .
She gave kindness to everyone who needed it, was loved by so many and was such a kind hearted soul. She loved her coffee and the ocean, she enjoyed walking along the beach, looking or shells and enjoying every moment of this beautiful world God created. Her faith was so strong. She was couragous, selfless and was always ready to listen and help in any way she could. We’re so grateful that she is at peace with her true love Dennis and soulmate forever. In our hearts we know that they are now dancing together amongst the clouds.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Dennis, her parents Salvatore and Nicolina Criscione. As well as her nephew, Joseph Fackleman and many others.
She is survived, by her daughters Kimberly Cione , son in law Jamie Cione, Jennifer Kovacs Ruggerio, son in law Alfonso Ruggerio, beloved brother Joe Criscione, sister-in-law Grace, her sister Donna Fackelman and her brother in law Tom Fackelman as well her grandchildren Matthew, Anthony, Alexander, Luke, Nicolina, Marcelo and Rosalia, and her nieces Ericka,Cheryl and Valerie and her nephew Nick
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2022 from 9:00Am to 10:30Am at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home 130 Highland Ave Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation at 11:00AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Queen of Peace Mauoleum.
