Obituary for Rosemary Jane Joy
At 65 years old, Rosemary Jane Joy, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 16th. Rosemary courageously battled through three different types of cancers and was in remission when she passed. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richmond Joy, and her four sons Rich Jr, James, William, and Jesse. Three daughter in-laws, Jennifer, Jeanine, and Jasmine, and her six grandkids, Tyler, Alyssa, Adrianna, Liam, Jacob, and Jonathan. She also leaves behind her dear sister Debbie and their families, as well as countless other family members and friends whom she deeply loved. Rosemary was the type of woman who was always smiling no matter the season of life she was in, and her smile would always light up the room. Rosemary’s fighting spirit and strength endured throughout her battles with the cancers as well as these past few months when Rose started developing seizures and suffered three strokes, which ultimately led to breathing and speech complications, which led to her untimely passing. Rosemary will be forever loved and deeply missed.
A viewing for Rosemary will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, located at 130 Highland Ave, Middletown NY 10940, From 2-4 & 6-8. Followed by burial for Rosemary, on the following day, Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:00,AM at Bloomingburg Cemetary, located at 845 Bloomingburg Rd, (Co Hwy 76), Bloomingburg, NY 12721
