“T’was Heaven here with you”. Rose Pogozelski of Circleville, died on Friday November 20 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus in Middletown. She was 67.
The daughter of the late Paul and Anna Sutton McGee, she was born on October 3, 1942 in N.Y.C.. Rose moved to the area in 1973 and married John F. Pogozelski, Sr. in Circleville in 1975.
Rose knew and loved everybody, and everybody knew and loved her. She was the greatest wife, mother and friend-always courageous and faithful. Because of her, so many good things happened for her family and friends. She was a strong lady who was extremely proud of her Irish heritage.
In addition to her loving husband John F. Pogozelski, Sr, she is survived by her children, John Paul Larson and his wife Bing, Kathleen McElroy and her husband Brian of Wappingers falls, Daniel Larson and his wife Astrid of Walden, Lori Hogencamp and her husband John of Bloomingburg, Jason Pogozelski and his finaceeDaniele Sinclair and Robin Grant and her husband Chris of Bullville; and her stepchildren, Judith Sustack and her husband Joe of Middletown, John Pogozelski, Jr of Pine Bush, Steven Pogozelski and his wife Theresa of Johnson, NY; her sister Helen Savona, brother John Paul McGee and his wife Betty; 20 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren and one on the way.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, A Funeral Service will be held at 8:30 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home.
