Rose Martinez, a resident of the area for many years, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2019.
She was born on February 25, 1937 to Pietro Donnanduono and Anna Sofia in Brooklyn, New York.
Rose married Antonio Martinez on December 15, 1962 in Queens, New York.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She loved watching soap operas, listening to Frank Sinatra, completing crossword puzzles from Star Magazine, and collecting catalogues.
She is survived by her husband Antonio of 56 years, her two daughters; Ann, Dina and her husband Keith, her son; Joseph, two sisters; Antoinette and Mary, and three grandchildren; Alexander, Robert, and Christopher.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York from 4 to 8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at St. Paul’s R. C. Church in Bullville, 2800 Route 17K. Burial will follow in the family plot in Circleville Cemetery, Circleville, New York.
