Rose E. Geer, a lifetime area resident, died at home with her family at her side on Wed, July 25, 2012. She was 42.
The daughter of Rose Lynch and the late Charles Distel, she was born on March 11, 1970 in Middletown. Rose married David Greer on May 19, 1992 in Middletown. She worked for Amscam in Chester as a supervisor.
In addition to her husband David, Rose is survived by her sons, Christopher of Middletown, David and Austin at home; her mother, Rose Lynch Bogart of Alabama and her stepmother, Mary Distel. She is also survived by her brothers, Gidio and Joseph of Middletown and Charles Reeves of Alabama; sisters, Tina and Mary Distel of Middletown; and two grandchildren, Christopher Charles, Jr. (CJ) and Alexander and her mother and father in law, Mary and Dave Geer of Middletown.
Cremation will be private at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope. Her family will receive visitors from 6 to 7:30 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
