Rosario Cracchiolo of Forestburgh, New York, passed away on May 4th, 2024 at his home with
his family by his side.
Rosario was born in Carini, Sicily to Angelo and Caterina Cracchiolo on June 17th, 1957. He came to America at the age of 18 where he started living the American Dream and working at General Motors.
He lived to provide an amazing life to his future family.
After marrying the love of his life, Rosalia Gallina on July 30th in 1983 in Brooklyn, NY and having their first two children
he headed upstate to have their third son and open up Roma Pizza and most recently Colosseo Family Restaurant in Monticello, NY.
Rosario is survived by his wife, daughter and two sons, Rosalia, Caterina, Angelo and Gianni. He is also survived
by his four grandchildren that he loved and adored, Sophia, Giuliano, Mia Rose& Luca.
A Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7th at 2:00 Pm to 4:00 Pm and 6:00 Pm to 8:00 Pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peters Church in Monticello, NY on Wednesday, May 8th at 11am.
