Obituary for Ronald LeRoy Quick
Ronald LeRoy Quick, a lifetime area resident, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at O.R.M.C. Arden Hill Campus. He was 64 years old.
The son of the late Russell and Lena B. Dunlap Quick, Ron was born December 12, 1942 in Middletown.
An electric line foreman, he worked for Orange and Rockland Utilities for 37 years. Ron was also a member of the Middletown Elks Lodge #1097, the Waalkill Fire Department, the IBEW, and the Oak Ridge Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen, at home; his daughter Cindy Cefalu of Highland Mills; and his two granddaughters Victoria Lynn and Jessica Leigh.
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6th from 7 to 8 pm at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. An Elk’s service of remembrance will be held at 8pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, New York 12550.
