Obituary for Ronald J. Davidowicz
Ronald J. Davidowicz, a longtime area resident, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at St. Teresa's Nursing Home. He was 67 years old. The son of the late John and Lydia Klebanski Davidowicz, Ron was born April 11, 1939 in New York, N.Y.
A family statement reads: "Ron was a very kind and loving husband and father. He enjoyed being outdoors both fishing and gardening. He also loved painting and playing the drums.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzan, at home; two sons Ronald J. and his wife, Nancy, of Jefferson, New Hampshire, Erik and his wife, Phaedra, of East Hampton, N.Y.; four daughters, Cheryl Davidowicz of Denver, CO, Marguerite Gualtieri and her husband, Dan, of Amagansett, N.Y., Veronica Montemarano of Montauk, NY, and Jenny Davidowicz at home; ten grandchildren; one brother, Edmund Davidowicz of New City, N.Y.; and two nieces Stephanie Vaughn and her husband, Larry, or Lexington, NC, and Karen O'Sullivan and her husband, Patrick, of Canton, CT.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday April 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Harmony Baptist church, 1790 Route 211E in Middletown. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. where Pastor D. Mason Whitley will officiate.
Burial will be on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. in the family plot in Bloomingburg Cemetery, Bloomingburg, N.Y.
