ROBERT GILMORE
January 16, 1960 - February 5, 2013
Westtown, NY
Robert Gilmore, a lifetime area resident, died following a long illness at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 53.
The son of Barbara Ann Hanes and the late Robert H. Gilmore, Bob was born on January 16, 1960 in Middletown. Robert married Nanette S. Snook and he worked for the Newton Board of Education in Newton, NJ.
He will be remembered by his family and friends as always having a smile on his face. He was humble and had a great sense of humor. He loved being outside, riding his Harley, his John Deere tractor and camping. He found a true love in his 1960 Ford Thunderbird, and his "kids at school". He was a hardworker and would do anything for anyone who asked. He loved his family and friends and his beloved dogs: Mayia, Max and Kayla.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Nanette at home; his mother, Barbara Ann Gilmore-Smit and her husband, Kornelis; one brother, Cory of Wurtsboro; a sister, Corrine Gendron of Middletown, and nieces and nephews: William and Magan Ann Talmadge and Danielle and Brandon Gendron, and his guardian angel, Irene-Lynn Vanatta.

Visitation hours are now from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, February 11th. Cremation will be private at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.

Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940.
