Obituary for Robert F Howell
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert F Howell, 87, of Howells, N.Y. announces his passing
peacefully on April 26, 2023. He was a kind man and loved by all who knew him.
Bob was predeceased by his mother, Louise Marie Howell and his father Wesley Asa Howell.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ingrid, and his three sons, Steven (Susan), Keith (Jenni),
and Eric (Amy). His eleven grandchildren, and his two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his
sister Helen (Richard) Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was an ex- chief and life time member of the Howells Fire Co. Bob enjoyed bowling, and sculpting
his clay model fire trucks which can be seen in several fire houses.
Bob started his career in the lumber business and loved designing kitchens. He ended his working
career at Yellow Freight in Maybrook.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the
Kidney Foundation.
