Robert Allison of Middletown, formerly of Nyack, NY and Jupiter, Florida died Monday March 7 , 2011 at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He was 62 years of age He was born on November 14, 1948 in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late John M. and Francine Froelich Allison.
Bob was a graduate of Fairfield University and Iona College, and spent his career as a Social Studies teacher in the North Rockland School District.
He is survived by his wife Felicia, step-children Jakki and Michael Emery, brother William of West Nyack and his wife Cathy, sister Francine Keahon and her husband Robert of New City, nephews Michael, William and Ryan Allison, Michael Keahon, RJ Keahon and his wife Jeanine, niece Allison Keahon, great-nephews Robert and Shane Keahon and grandson Jayden Emery. He was pre-deceased by his brother John E. Allison of New City.
Visitation hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday, March 11 at Our Lady of MT. Carmel 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, NY. Interment will be in Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown.
