Obituary for Robbie Kelly
Robbie Lee Kelly of Middletown died on April 25, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was 97 years old.
Robbie was born in Alexandria, Tennessee on April 4, 1922 to John and Ocie Malone- Hearn.
As a long time, resident of the area, she enjoyed church volunteering. She loved being a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and beautifying her home. She recently spent many of her last years at “The Promenade”, where the care and atmosphere were exceptional.
Robbie is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Giordano and her husband Frank of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Sharon Foley and her husband John of Summerville, South Carolina.
She is additionally survived by her loving grandchildren, who were her precious gifts; Frank Peter Giordano III, Robin Giordano-Wolfenhaut, Steven Michael Giordano, Jason Thomas Giordano, Sandra Rosario, Colleen Foley and Michael Foley, and 12 great- grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Vincent J. Kelly and her brother.
Visitation will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 5 to 8 P.M., with a service of remembrance at 7:30 P.M.
Interment will take place on Monday, April 29, 2019 in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, New York.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Robbie’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of choice.
