Obituary for Regina Grace Pinkall
Regina Grace Pinkall, longtime resident of Slate Hill, New York, passed away after a brief illness at St. Luke's Hospital on April 27th, 2021. She was 80 years old.
The daughter of the late Peter and Regina Crocitto, she was born on May 29,1940 in Staten Island, New York,
Known as Reggie by all who knew her, she was an avid New York sports fan of the Mets, Nets, and Jets. She loved to read, paint, garden, and crochet. Vermont was one of her favorite places to visit, she loved antiques, covered bridges, and going on bike rides. Reggie coached many of the community children in Little League and was a 4-H Leader. Reggie was a longtime Post Master of Phillipsport Post Office in New York, and loved interacting with her regular customers from the area. Her smile would light up a room and her kindness and love was abundant, she would give her shirt off her back to someone in need. Reggie loved to cook for others, you could never come to the house without having her lasagna and meatballs! She was a beloved Mother, and a true friend to all.
She is survived by her four children, Russell of Wallkill, New York, Susan Schmidt (husband Michael) of Mattituck, New York, Christina Dailey (husband James) of Johnson, New York, and Barbara Wortman (husband Eric) of Middletown, New York. Sister Margaret Scire of Chicago. Also, a beloved Grandmother of 11 Grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her son Andrew, and three siblings, Frank, Raffaela, and Catherine.
