Rebecca L. Hadden

Bloomingburg, NY
Rebecca L. Hadden, a registered nurse and longtime resident of Middletown passed away surrounded by her husband and children after a short illness at Garnet Medical Center on September 27, 2021. She was 64.
Becky married Philip Hadden on June 27, 1980 in Slate Hill and together raised three children and fostered countless others.
She was straight forward and generous, and her hair was always done just right. Becky was an avid reader, an animal lover, and diligent nurse and caretaker, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Aside from saving, nurturing, and rehabilitating thousands of people in need without judgement, she went home to be everyone’s shoulder to lean on. Rebecca is described as straight forward, generous, loving, and selfless. She had a very large sense of humor that showed brightly to every person who crossed her path.
Rebecca is survived by her husband Philip Sr., Parents, Charles and Sally Knipple. Step-Mother in law Angela Roman also known as Mimi, Children, Vanessa Sarabia-Gonzalez (Javier), Jennifer Hetcher (Tank), And Philip Hadden, Jr., (Melissa). Brother, Douglas Kipple, (Robin), Sisters; Sandra Nelson (Robert), Sally Phillips (Thomas), and Lee-Ann Kline. Grandchildren, Javier Jr., Jocelyn, Anthony, Jillian, Ryan, Zachary, Connor, Leeland, Chloe, Madison, Ariana, and Kaegan. Also her best friend and fellow nurse Kathy Gibbons and her best friend from grade school, Deborah layug. She was predeceased by her grandmother Ruth V. Beaty, and mother and father in-laws, Jessie and Harold Hadden Sr.
Our family would like to send out heart felt thanks to three very special nurses, Danielle, Vicki and Britney who went above and beyond for our mother. Also Angelica at the front desk who was so compassionate when it came to our daily visits.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 1st, 2021 from 4-7 pm at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY., with a Service of Remembrance being celebrated at 6:30 pm, with Pstr. Jon Marc officiating.
