Racine Concepcion
November 13th, 1985-October 16th, 2023
Hoboken, New Jersey
Racine Concepcion, 37, of Hoboken, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, October 16th, 2023.
Racine was born in the Bronx, NY on November 13th, 1985. She graduated from Minisink Valley High School and continued on to receive her journalism degree at St. John’s University. She worked as a Project Manager at MRM/McCann Relationship Marketing.
Racine was the person who lit up every room she entered. She was kind to everyone she encountered, an ear for anyone who needed someone to listen, empathetic to anyone who needed someone to understand, a laugh to anyone who needed a smile. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, which always turned into an opportunity to sing and dance her heart out. She never missed an opportunity to watch the Today Show, and made sure to send clips to all of her family and friends of what Hoda was saying that day. Racine was a person who did not get dealt an easy deck of cards, and even with the hand she was given, she never stopped loving as hard as she possibly could. She loved to read and write and always dreamed of writing a book. She had a children’s book almost complete, Sunny & Luna, that she was immensely passionate about. She loved to cook and host her loved ones, but also go out to dinner and enjoy a glass of prosecco. She loved to travel, see a broadway show, and go to the movies. She enjoyed laughing until she fell onto the floor, yet never failed to cry to any heartfelt movie or song. Racine was an extraordinary person who no amount of words can do justice. She was incredibly loved, as she had a heart of gold and the strength of a lion. If you were fortunate enough to know her, she made you feel loved, important and seen. She will be terribly missed by everyone who knew her. The world is left a better place because she was in it.
Racine is preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Alicia Rivera.
She is survived by her father Luis Rivera, her siblings, Luis Rivera, Britney Rivera, Sophia Rivera, Eva Rivera, Olivia Rivera, and Julien Rivera, her sister-in-law Megan Rivera, and her brother-in-law, Savvas Tjortjoglou, and her nieces Adriana Rivera and God daughter, Peyton Rivera, as well as an enormous amount of family and friends.
